Forgiving Yourself

Many of us feel stress and anxiety in our gut. “How did that get there?” We ask ourselves. “Can’t I feel peaceful inside? Where is this inner turmoil coming from?” If we look closely, we often find we are holding ourselves hostage with no grace for ourselves and an absence of self-forgiveness. This podcast will help you get free from that self-critical spirit.

Forgiving Yourself

Many of us feel the ongoing discomfort of stress and anxiety in our gut.

“How did that get there?” We ask ourselves. “Can’t I feel peaceful inside?”

This happened to me recently. I started becoming very hard on myself. Inwardly, I beat myself up for bad decisions and choices that were totally wrong for me. Anxiety descended on me. I asked: God, what is going on? Where is this inner turmoil coming from?

Immediately I heard: Condemnation! My unforgiveness toward myself led me right into a self-critical, judgmental place that opened the door to condemnation. This is a religious spirit. This harsh taskmaster reminds you of all your shortcoming—everything you do wrong. And, your mind listens. And your body reacts.

When was the last time you forgave yourself? We are to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. And we are to love and forgive our neighbors as we love and forgive … ourselves … Do people think to do that?

Forgiving yourself is part of who we are—part of our miraculous identity. Click HERE on to this short podcast and let God minister this important facet of forgiveness.

Blessings to you!
