23: Experiencing God with Gary Oats
God is experiential. We can know God and also experience Him. In this podcast, we talk about how to be still before God—to let go, relax and soak in His presence. You can experience the manifest presence of God every day. My special guest is Gary Oats, author of Open My Eyes, Lord.
22: Being a Father to the Fatherless.
Many have not experienced the closeness of a good father. A loving dad. Someone who willingly gives you his time and speaks wisdom into your life. Without guidance at home, many teens end up on the street. Listen to my conversation with Ed Buerger—a spiritual father to the fatherless. His ministry helps at risk teens get off the streets.
21: Identity: Anthony Bourdain, Kate Spade and the Suicide Crisis in America
CDC report shows that more than half of the people who died by suicide had no known mental health problems. “Relationship, substance use, health, and job or other circumstances contributing to suicide.” A war is going on for your identity: God’s view of you and the world’s view of you. Through whose lense do you see yourself? It’s your choice.
20: Be Strong and Courageous Women!
When we share our stories with other women, we see we are not alone. We are part of a sisterhood of strong, courageous women. We need to encourage one another, support each other and lift each other up. You can pull the woman next to you up to higher ground. We need each other. Cori Eastmond and I dialogue on how women launch each other into their destinies!
19: Right Here! Right Now! You’re Beautiful!
The One who created you says: You’re beautiful! I created you. I cherish you. Then we come along and harshly criticize ourselves. We compare ourselves to others and decide we don’t measure up. How do we pull ourselves out of the pit of comparing and self-judging? Join me with Cori Eastmond as we explore how to posture in our true beauty.
18: Get Unstuck!
When you get unstuck, you are unstoppable! You gain momentum and begin fulfilling the call of God on your life. You know what gets us stuck? Most of the time it is our thoughts. We easily speak negative and limiting things to ourselves and rapidly spiral down. I am speaking with Cori Eastmond on this podcast on ways we can be diligent and proactive in getting unstuck. One seed of truth will release you from what holds you back!
